Preston North End are delighted that the club and North End Events have been nominated in three categories in The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards.
Sodexo Live!, who operate as North End Events at Deepdale, became the club’s official venue partner last summer and have taken over the catering operation at the stadium.
Their work with PNE has been well received by supporters and they are now up for the following awards:
Best Retail Catering Award – Recognising the best retail catering teams at stadia across the UK.
Non-Matchday Sales Team of the Year Award – Recognising the best matchday sales team at UK stadium venues.
Visiting Football Directors Award – Voted for by visiting Directors for their best away experience when travelling with their team.
Peter Ridsdale, Director at PNE, said: “There’s a lot of hard work which goes on behind the scenes to make sure as a club we are providing a quality service to our supporters on a matchday and it’s nice to see those efforts being recognised.
“To also be acknowledged by members of other clubs is a privilege and we’re always delighted to hear people have enjoyed their experience at Deepdale.”
The awards, sponsored by Global Payments Inc., recognises the efforts and dedication shown by catering, conference and events teams at football, rugby and cricket stadia across the UK. The ceremony will take place at Elland Road on Thursday 4th July.
