Preston North End's wait is finally over with the big kick-off fast approaching.
Rhodes will instead be away on international duty with Scotland, whilst Town will also be missing Sean Scannell, Oliver Norwood and Murray Wallace due to the same reason.
In the away dressing room, Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson will be without the services of highly sought after striker Jordan Rhodes.
Experienced striker Lee Trundle is the only North End absentee, side lined with a knee injury.
Captain John Mousinho will be fit after being rested for the trip to Devon, likewise Shane Cansdell-Sherriff, Joel Byrom and Nicky Wroe.
Manager Graham Westley has no new injury concerns ahead of Monday’s game with Paul Huntington shaking off a knock picked up at Plymouth Argyle on Wednesday.

The Terriers
It was only four months ago the Lilywhites beat the League One Play-Off winners by a goal to nil courtesy of Chris Robertson’s second half finish.
Since then, both teams have gone through a lot, with Huddersfield beating Sheffield United in a dramatic shootout at Wembley to win promotion to the Championship whilst North End have done major surgery to their squad.
During the summer break, Huddersfield have strengthened their squad with Grayson raiding his former club Leeds United for the services of midfielder Adam Clayton as well as capturing Manchester United midfielder Oliver Norwood.
