Champions League Qualifiers and mid-week Premier League action currently dominate the betting spectrum with the bookies.

Tonight, Neil Lennon’s Celtic side face a tough trip to Kazakhstan to face last year’s Kazakhstan Premier League champions FC Shakhter Karagandy.

The Scottish side are favourites to progress and are evens to beat the Miners at the Shakhtyor Stadium, at 1/1.

Meanwhile, the Kazakh underdogs are 3/1 to force an upset and take a lead back to Celtic Park when the sides play the return leg.

Tomorrow night, Arsenal face the harrowing proposition of an away tie in Europe against Turkish side Fenerbahce at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium.

The Gunners have played the Yellow-Navy Blues just four times competitively and will be hoping to replicate their last visit to the Super Lig side, which ended in a 5-2 win.

And the bookies are finding it difficult to separate the teams, especially following Arsenal’s shock loss on the opening day of the Premier League season to Aston Villa.

Arsene Wenger’s London outfit are 8/5 to get a victory, while a draw is priced at 12/5 and Fenerbahce can be backed with odds of 13/8.

French striker Olivier Giroud is the favourite to get on the scoresheet first at 6/1, and build on his goal against Villa.

Elsewhere on Wednesday night, Jose Mourinho continues his Stamford Bridge reunion with the visit of Paul Lambert’s Villans.

Last season, Chelsea romped to victory against Villa, scoring eight goals and keeping a clean sheet, just two days before Christmas.

And the Blues are odds-on to win the game at 2/7, while another thrashing of four goals or more is 100/30 with Sky Bet.

Following their dramatic victory at the Emirates, however, Aston Villa will be confident they can cause an upset at Stamford Bridge and are 9/1 to return to the Midlands with three points.

Hot-shot striker Christian Benteke is the clear favourite to score first with the bookmakers at 9/1.

Odds correct at time of publication.
