Glynn Snodin Excited By Prospect Of Wembley Final

5 January 2015

Assistant manager Glynn Snodin speaks to PNE Player about the excitement among the dressing room, with North End just two games away from a Wembley final date.

The first hurdle for the Lilywhites is the first leg of the JPT northern area final at home to Walsall and though Glynn knows what to expect from a side who beat the Lilywhites in the league back in September, he knows PNE are capable of progressing if they play at their best.

"It's exciting now, we've always said from the start of this competition that we wanted to win every game that we play in and it's a great opportunity for the Club to get to Wembley."

Speaking of the last trip to Walsall, Snodin said: "I thought they were very good on the day, they passed the ball well, they moved the ball, their movement was good and we didn't have our 'A' game that day, we didn't turn up.

"That's not being disrespectful to Walsall because on their day they can do that to you. They've got good technical players and they can hurt you so we've got to make sure that we remember that and on Wednesday night we come out on our 'A' game and fire again like we did on Saturday.

"We want to go and win this game, we've got the home advantage and we will play our normal game and take the game to them and that's what we've got to do and hopefully get that one or two goal advantage to take down to Walsall."

To hear more from Glynn Snodin ahead of the JPT clash, head to PNE Player now for the full interview.
