Callum 'Buzzing' To Be Back

5 January 2016

After re-joining North End on loan until the end of the season, Callum Robinson admitted he was delighted to be back.

The on-loan Villa man spent the first half of the season on loan at Bristol City, and feels the experience has developed him more as a player.

"I'm glad to be back. When I heard that Preston were interested I was buzzing, I was over the moon.

"I'm really looking forward to it, I'm back with the lads, back with the manager and the fans and everything is great at this football club.

"I loved every minute when I was here last season and I've learnt a lot more since then as well so I'm ready to show everyone what I can do."

Speaking of his experiences so far this season, Robinson continued: "I got advised by Villa to try a new place and a new city to go to and it didn't work out in the end.

"Not playing was hard as I've always played football, it was hard but now it's made me more hungry and I know what I have to do to get into teams.

"It probably wasn't the best loan on the pitch but off the pitch, I'm mentally much stronger. I've now watched a lot of games in the Championship while I was at Bristol and I'm now looking forward to playing and showing everyone what I'm capable of doing."
