Preston North End are looking for individuals to help promote and grow it’s weekly lottery draw.
Every week, a lottery player wins £1,000 and there are other cash prizes on offer too. A £1 per week entry gives a player ten numbers in the draw each week.
The Preston North End lottery is now a beneficiary of the Heartbeat lottery - the local charity with it’s headquarters at Deepdale, helping local people to recover from and prevent heart conditions.
Preston North End also donates any profits it generates from the draw to the Academy.
So by taking part in the lottery, players are helping to develop the future talent of the football club whilst at the same time helping a very worthy local charity.
We are now looking for individuals to recruit new weekly members for the lottery. In return for recruiting 70 new members, each with a £1 entry per week, you will be entitled to receive one adult, non-premium season ticket for the 2017/18 season (terms and conditions apply*).
Members can be recruited from friends and family, your workplace, sport clubs, or by door-to-door canvassing.
Weekly collections must be delivered to Preston North End each week. However, many existing collectors make the process easier by collecting their rounds every four weeks, or asking their members to pay by standing order into Preston North End’s lottery bank account.
If you arrange for all your members to pay by standing order, you have nothing else to do for the season provided your membership total does not fall below 70.
All the forms and paperwork are provided by the club to enable you to set up as a collector.

*Terms and Conditions
Lottery collectors must be over 18 and members playing the lottery must also be over 18.
The free season ticket applies as long as at least 70 new members are recruited to play the lottery, each member paying £1 per week. At least 70 members must continue to play throughout the full 2017/18 season. If the paying members falls below 70, the season ticket will be revoked.
If new members request that their weekly entry is collected as a cash payment, it is the collector’s responsibility to collect the £1 and deliver it to Preston North End on Tuesday each week in time for the weekly draw. Collections can be made in advance, for example four-weekly, to make this process easier. Standing order payments are also available.
