Josh Harrop has enjoyed his first few days at PNE getting to know his new teammates at Springfields.
Harrop signed a four-year deal with the club and after just a few days with the squad, the former Manchester United man already feels at home.
On his time with the team so far, the 21-year-old said: "It's been good, it's been tough with all of the running, but I've been getting to know all of the lads and I've settled in well, they are all good lads and it's been a good few days.
"I had been at United all of my life and now I'm here at PNE so it's a big change for me but I'm enjoying it. All of the lads are great and I don't feel out of place, straight away I've settled in and that's always a big thing.
"There's a few lads here that I know here anyway so that's helped me a lot over the last couple of days.
Harrop is one of a number of young players in the North End squad, and he feels that the club has a bright future having spent time with the players.
"I've got to speak to all of the other lads both individually and together and they are all top lads, they are all ambitious and we all want the best as a team and we are going to fight to do that.
"There are a lot of young lads but they've got a lot of experience and they've played a lot of games so that's good for us going into this season.
"Those lads who are young but have that experiecne will go into this season with it being a big season for them and it's time for them to kick on.
"They are all ready to get going and we want to be winning games straight from the off."
