Three PNE Players Named In Ireland Squad

24 May 2018

Three Preston North End players have once again be called up to the Republic of Ireland squad to face France and USA.

Alan Browne, Daryl Horgan and Greg Cunningham have all been named in Martin O'Neill's squad for their upcoming friendlies.

Sean Maguire misses out with a minor injury as a precaution, while Callum Robinson, who featured in Ireland's last game against Celtic for Scott Brown's testimonial, is not available for the official international matches as he awaits international clearance to be eligible to play.

Alan Browne and Sean Maguire started the match against Celtic, playing the full 90 minutes, while Greg Cunningham, along with Callum Robinson, was a second half substitute.

Browne scored his first senior goal for his country with the opening goal in the 2-2 draw with Celtic.

Republic of Ireland face France at Stade de France on Monday 28th May before hosting USA on Saturday 2nd June.
