PNECET And Windrush Initiatives Launch Together As One Racism Education Programme

15 October 2020

All monies raised as part of Wear Red Day allows education and campaign workers from Show Racism The Red Card, an anti-racism education charirty, to work with more young people and adults across the UK to challenge racism in society.

Support from Preston North End has come from the first team squad as well as members of community programmes.

Those participating on the Trust's National Citizen Citizen Service programme have been supporting the programme and benefitting from a themed anti-racism workshop from Windrush Initiatives CIC as part of the newly launched Together As One programme.

Young people from Preston's Centre of Sporting Excellence, Brownedge St. Mary's High School and Shaftesbury High School students on the secondary school provision programme, and children from Kennington Primary School - a partner school of PNECET on the PL Primary Stars programme - have all also been showing their support for Wear Red Day.

Donations to Show Racism The Red Card can be made by clicking here and you can look through Wear Red Day photos from the first team squad and PNECET programmes in the gallery above!
