The PNECET Helping Hampers campaign will continue into June having seen more than 600 deliveries made in six weeks, but we are now seeking donations from the public to allow the campaign to be sustained for as long as possible.
Hampers were initially funded with generous donations from the first squad and staff, followed by grants from the Lancashire COVID-19 Community Support Fund and the National Emergencies Trust, allowing for a successful first six weeks in operation.
Members of the public can now donate to the cause by clicking the link above, which will allow us to continue supporting the most vulnerable members of the community through this initiative for as long as possible.
The most recent week of deliveries has seen staff from the Community and Education Trust delivering to the club’s elderly season ticket holders and students from West Lancashire High School and Shaftesbury High School on the secondary school provision programme.
